Member profile

Background information and interests

I am a filmmaker, artist, photographer, political activist and an ordinary person from planet earth. I am extremely passionate about film and have been since I was 10. I like making thought provoking films that question our societal landscape and our social consciousness. I have a tendency to stick up for the underdog and as a result of this these themes are often reflected in my works. I am quite often found engaging in arguments for indigenous land rights, gay marriage, anti-war campaigns, and etc. etc. etc. I find myself being more and more disappointed by the state of our world — our problem world of here and now. I hope one day not long from now to look to a world where G. Bush rules no more and a world where we shall have a little normalcy restored. By normalcy I refer here to our ability to question and not soak up all knowledge presented to us. However, having said all this I must add that my gripes about the world and everyday life do little to prevent me from getting where I want to be. This must be attributed to the passion and excellent work ethic my mum has instilled in me : Finally, I am also passionate about cultural studies, politics, archaeology, history, art, architecture, photography, literature, and music.
