Background information and interests

Katie Ellis received a PhD in communications (media and disability) from Murdoch University in 2005. She now works in disability support at The University of Western Australia. She has mentored filmmakers with disability and published a number of articles on cinema and new media including the book Disabling Diversity (VDM Verlag 2008).
