Paul Stock is a subeditor at ninemsn, and a PhD candidate at Murdoch University. He has ongoing research interests in the way the bibliographic universe is documented and retrieved; metonymy and semiotics; national identity and popular memory; masculinity and representation; ephemera, film, and popular literature — most of which have found a convenient home in his Doctoral thesis, Making the World England: James Bond and the Restoration of Britain.
