The big news for September is the remarkable success of our Web Designer, Carrie Kilpin. She has been successful in attaining her PhD. This is an incredible achievement. Through three years work — assessed by international experts in the field — she has become Dr Kilpin. On behalf of the Collective, we congratulate her and acknowledge this important moment in a scholarly career.

In the next two weeks, we will be organising our next project of the PCC, Access all Areas. Mike and I will be sending an email out to coordinate everyone's contribution. This will be our major focus for September.

Also, please note the new writings that have emerge on the Sound and Vision hub and the Tackling Sport hub. Thanks to all the contributors for their work, and to Debbie, Christina and our editor Angela for organising their contributions.

Members will also see that the front cover of our first book, Liverpool of the South Seas: Perth and its Popular Music, has been delivered from the publisher. Currently it is on the Mezz until Paul starts uploading our exhibitions.

Paul is also working hard in organising the Mezz. Major thanks to Matt, Valentin and Felicity for their music, logos and photographs. They will be on display shortly for the membership to view, hear and use.

Onward to October …
